Washington State Karate-do Federation was founded for the purpose of supporting traditional karate athletes of Washington State and our region by providing the highest quality environment for education, training and competition 

This year we expanded our Gold Medal Sponsorship program to include four $500 Gold Medal Sponsorships for athletes who placed first in their respective divisions while competing at WSKF 2009 Invitational Tournament and USA-NKF Qualifier on February 28th at Edmonds, WA

These sponsorships are intended to support competitors who hope to qualify for the US National Junior or Senior teams. Our long-term goal is to expand the program to assist qualified athletes from our region to participate at the highest levels of national and international competition
